20 thousand people expected at Sheepvention
Farmers from across the region have been gathering in Hamilton Monday and Tuesday for the 2018 Hamilton Sheepvention.
It's the 40th year of the event with over 20 thousand expected through the gates over the two days.
There's over 600 trade sites as well as one thousand sheep on display representing all breeds including the feature breeds this year Merino and Texel.
Federal Member for Wannon Dan Tehan has been touring Sheepvention and says it's a great networking exercise for farmers to get together on these occasions.
President Will Kinghorn says singer James Blundell opened Sheepvention on Monday as the headline act for a concert to make the 40th anniversary of the event.
